'Snowfall' season 3 episode 8 promo reveals 'it's open season on Franklin Saint' as Reed's partner Jules and Andre target him

In the promo for 'Snowfall' season 3 episode 8 titled 'Hedgehogs' we see Jules, Reed's partner, orchestrate a plan to take down Franklin Saint and the dealers who sell crack

As 'Snowfall' season 3 nears its season finale, the pace of the show has picked up and in episode 8 titled 'Hedgehogs', we will see everyone gunning for Franklin Saint. The young man who chose to use the crack epidemic to make money will face the consequences of all he has done not just with legal action, but personal loss as well.

In the promo of the upcoming episode, Franklin sees the effect of crack on young people in the neighborhood and how it affects not just them but also their loved ones. Melody Wright, Franklin's on-again-off-again girlfriend is now addicted to cocaine and there may be nothing Franklin can do to help her.

While we see him ask her to try and get clean, possibly even go on and attend the college she has been accepted into - his advice seems futile. All this while, tensions have been growing between Reed Thompson aka undercover CIA agent Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) and Franklin. Franklin is targeted by none other than Reed's partner and ex-wife Jules.

She has a meeting with Andre Wright, Melody's father, and tells him why now is the right time to bring Franklin down. She seems to think that this is the best option right now and she might also be influenced by the need to save Teddy as the DEA is now investigating the case of one of their agents gone missing.

Her last known contact with her superior officer revealed she was in touch with an undercover operative to get access to the Columbian cartel, and this might all lead to Reed. From the promo, her true reasons for trying to bring Franklin and the drug dealers down is unclear.

Andre is also told by his fellow officer that now is the right time to solve the problem he has always wanted to go up against - the crack dealers in his neighborhood. He is told "it's open season on Franklin Saint" and to reflect this, we also see Franklin being chased and shot at.

It is clear he is running for his life and the fate of his family is, at this point, unknown. Will the cops go after Jerome, Louie and his mother for associating with him? Where is Leon, his best friend who is always by Franklin's side? These are questions the upcoming episode will answer.

Even as Franklin becomes a target, Reed is seen trying to make the problem go away as much as possible. He asks Jules what exactly she has done to find a way out of this problem, but she tells him he cannot change anything. Will he be able to stop things before they get out of hand and reaches Gustavo, the man who moves drug consignments for him from Columbia?

We will have to watch 'Snowfall' season 3 episode 8 which airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on FX to know more.
