A massive search was launched shortly after the youngster vanished as Gloucestershire Constabulary and Carter's loved ones put out appeals to find her.

A six-year-old girl, who was believed to have been missing while playing with her scooter on Saturday night has been found safe and well, according to reports. The girl, identified as Lexi Carter from Dursley, Gloucestershire, had disappeared shortly after 7:30pm on Saturday. A massive search was launched shortly after the youngster vanished as Gloucestershire Constabulary and Carter's loved ones put out appeals to find her. When Carter vanished, she had been wearing a pink jacket, Nike trainers and jeans, and "may have had her black and pink scooter with her".



 

Reports state that police found the six-year-old on Sunday morning, safe and well and she was found with her friends. The officials, in a statement posted on Twitter, said: 

 


 

 

Gloucestershire Constabulary had earlier released a statement saying that they were concerned about the child's welfare after she went missing. No further details have been provided on where and how the child was found by the officials.
