Six-year-old Missouri boy missing for five months found alive hidden in an attic by mother and her boyfriend
In order to prevent the child from being found, the boyfriend nailed the entrance of the crawl space shut, put a carpet over it, and pushed furniture over it before the police came
Police who were desperately searching for a missing Missouri six-year-old boy who was reported missing close to five months ago have finally found him — in an attic crawl space with his mother at a home south of Camdenton in rural Laclede County.
The hunt for six-year-old Braedence Jones began on August 12 after the young boy mysteriously disappeared during a visit with his mother, Aubrey Ferguson, according to a press release by the Camden County Sheriff's Office (CCSO).
His father, Ryan Jones, who had court-ordered custody, had reported him missing after he could find neither his son nor Ferguson when he arrived to pick up the six-year-old after what was supposed to be the boy's week-long visit to his mother's home.
