Mykelti Brown Padron and Antonio Padron's love story: 'Sister Wives' stars who married young welcome baby girl
The pandemic has not been easy on the Browns and staying apart has really taken a toll on the plural family featured on 'Sister Wives'. However, there's something the family has to look forward to and that is meeting Mykelti Brown Padron and Antonio Padron's baby girl — Avalon Asa Padron.
The 24-year-old reality TV star took to social media to introduce the world to her little bundle of joy. The couple has been married since 2016 and this is their first child. While the entire Brown clan couldn't be there for the delivery, sister-wife Robyn did join them via Zoom. Brown Padron is the daughter of Kody Brown and his third wife Christine. Avalon is Kody's third grandchild.

As reported by People, Avalon Asa Padron was born on Monday, April 5, at 9.57 pm. She weighed 9 lbs and measured 20.5 inches. "Avalon is gorgeous, enjoyable and full of life," said Brown Padron.
Her husband, too, expressed his joy over welcoming their baby girl. "We are both very happy with our baby and the success of our home delivery. We were excited (sister-wife) Robyn (Brown) could join us via Zoom for the whole labor," he said. "My wife's the strongest person I know and it shows," he added. The proud dad also shared a photo of his baby girl, captioned: "My Amazing family just got a +1 ! Baby Avalon Asa Padron is here ! God we love her ! We had an amazing home birth. Everyone is looking Healthy. Thank you for the prayers and good thoughts Everyone."
How did the couple meet?
Brown Padron and her husband married rather young, seeing that she was 19 at the time and he was 21. The pair began dating in 2015 when Brown Padron returned to Utah while taking a break from school. Kody got her job at St George, where a friend of his owned a pawn shop. It was here that she met her future husband.
When did they get married?
Padron proposed to his now-wife after just five months of dating. The proposal was a rather sweet one, seeing that he asked her to marry him while the pair was out hiking. They stopped by a waterfall when Padron recited a poem he had written for his girlfriend, and presented her with a ring. Brown-Padron said yes. The pair tied the knot in June 2016.
Mom Christine was not a fan of the relationship
While the couple was clearly in love and ready to spend their life together, there was one person who wasn't quite as ecstatic about the whole situation — Christine, Brown Padron's mother. She believed that her daughter was far too young to be getting married to someone she barely even knew. More importantly, she believed that her daughter moved out in order to pursue her college education and a career in fashion and that she should be focusing on that instead of getting married. Christine took time to warm up to Padron. She eventually did come around since the couple made each other significantly happy.
The couple has chosen to be monogamous and not pursue a plural family lifestyle, since Padron's family is also monogamous.
