'Single's Inferno' Season 3: Who is Kim Gyu-ri? Fashion model feels disheartened as she gets rejected in first coupling
SEUNGBONG-DO, SOUTH KOREA: Netflix's 'Single's Inferno' Season 3 contestant Kim Gyu-ri is a 28-year-old single female looking out for love.
The contestant revealed on the dating show that the path of modeling opened up for her when she was in college and she "just kept going for it."
While explaining how she started her modeling career, Gyu-ri confessed, "I just found I really like standing in front of the camera and being myself."
As of now, Gyu-ri is working in the fashion industry, doing beauty shoots. The fashion and beauty model also collaborates with various brands to promote them.
As Gyu-ri entered 'Single's Inferno' Season 3, she was seen being uptight. But after not getting picked by anyone in the first coupling, Gyu-ri felt a bit disheartened. She looks like she is not accustomed to getting rejected by anyone.
Therefore, Gyu-ri couldn't process how someone couldn't pick her. She said, "The fact that I didn't get a single vote is puzzling, maybe?"
Having confidence in herself, she said, "I guess the remaining participants should try to, how should I put this? Hit it off?"
Gyu-ri was first considered the strongest woman in the inferno as she had the best looks and personality. But, maybe the men are looking for someone who is more bubbly and cheerful.
'Single's Inferno' Season 3: What is Kim Gyu-ri's ideal type?
Gyu-ri joined 'Single's Inferno' in the hope of finding someone who could set her "heart aflutter." She described herself as a bubbly person who loves to laugh a lot.
However, she believes her first impressions are always "concerned," making people think she is the "distant type" of a person.
She claimed, "I think the careful way I treat people makes them think that I'm shy." Gyu-ri would like to meet someone in the show who can make her smile.
'Single's Inferno' Season 3: Kim Gyu-ri couples with Park Min-kyu
In Episode 3, we saw Gyu-ri finally matching with someone who had the same interest in her. She picked Park Min-kyu to go to paradise together and so did Min-kyu.
Min-kyu is someone who couldn't open easily with anyone in the inferno. But he seemed to be very comfortable with Gyu-ri.
Min-kyu believes they both have a "similar sense of humor." Therefore, it was a pleasant surprise for him to meet Gyu-ri.
