Who is Sinead Lyons? Blonde woman, 41, goes missing while taking German shepherd on walk in Massachusetts
OSSIPEE, NEW HAMPSHIRE: State police are continuing their search for a missing Massachusetts woman, who was last seen nearly a week ago and whose car was found in the Ossipee area earlier this week.
The New Hampshire State Police used a drone Wednesday as part of the latest search for Sinead Lyons, 41, who was reported missing since the evening of March 15 by Lowell police. "They had evidence to believe this missing person, Miss Lyons, had been in the Ossipee area and may have gone on a hiking trip with her dog," said state police Lt James Fogarty to WMUR.com.

Who is Sinead Lyons?
Sinead Lyons was last seen walking her German shepherd on or around March 11, along the shores of Ossipee Lake. Four days later, her car, a 2005 white Volvo, with a Massachusetts registration number 926TN7, was located in the area, according to officials. "New Hampshire Fish and Game put their airboat on the ice and checked the areas of the lake that are open water, as well as used a remote vehicle to check under the ice," said Fogarty in the report.
“My big sister Sinead and her German Shepard [sic] dog Flossie are still missing,” Lyons’ sister Sandra Lyons wrote in a Facebook post on Friday, March 19, reported People magazine. “We ask you to keep looking, keep checking your land, to pray. Please help find them. If you have any information please contact New Hampshire State Police. Thank you all for continuing to spread the word. We will find them!”
Two days earlier, Sandra had shared a photo of her sister and Flossie celebrating St Patrick's Day the previous year. "Missing: Sinead Lyons and Flossie the German Shepard dog. Please if you have any information contact New Hampshire State Police! 17 March: THEY ARE STILL MISSING!!! This is an old photo from last year of Sinead and Flossie celebrating St Patrick’s day ☘️," it read.
The report described Lyons as being 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 150 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing a white coat, white knit hat and black knee-high boots. Erin Flynn, Lyons' cousin, posted a picture of the missing dog. She described Flossie as a three-year-old female, who is 'skittish and afraid of men', who may bite 'if approached wrong' and only answers to the Irish language commands.
Police said they do not suspect foul play and are treating the investigation as a missing-person case. They are also looking for the public's help. Anyone with information regarding Lyons's whereabouts is urged to contact the New Hampshire State Police, #TroopE, Tamworth at (603) 323-3333.
