Silentó arrested for entering random home wielding hatchet in search of GF and photo of anus goes viral

On Thursday, September 3, American rapper and singer Richard Lamar ‘Ricky’ Hawk, better known as Silentó was trending on Twitter for more than one reason. A Twitter user wrote, “Silento is trending for two reasons and one of them just traumatized me.”

So, what happened?

According to news reports, the 22-year-old rapper, best known for his 2015 song ‘Watch Me’, was arrested on Wednesday, September 2, for alleged domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon in two separate incidents in Orange County and Los Angeles, California.

He was first taken into custody on Friday, August 28, by Santa Ana police after a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of MacArthur Boulevard. He was reportedly booked and released on a charge of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. The following day, Saturday, August 29, Hawk allegedly went to a random home in the 12700 block of Burbank Boulevard in Valley Village while wielding a hatchet. 

As per the LAPD, he entered the residence while searching for his girlfriend. The homeowners and their children were home at the time. They were reportedly shaken by the intrusion but unharmed, investigators said. TMZ reported that a member of the household screamed for help and other people took Hawk to the ground to disarm him. Following this, Hawk's friend arrived at the home to tell the rapper that he was at the wrong house. They fled before cops arrived. 

Hawk was arrested again on August 29. He was reportedly apprehended by cops a block away from the house. Hawk was booked for assault with a deadly weapon. According to sheriff's department records, as of Wednesday afternoon, Hawk remained in custody on a $105,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at 8:30 a.m. Friday, September 4, at the Van Nuys Courthouse, at 14400 Erwin Street Mall.

But that is not the only reason why the rapper was trending on Twitter. Several people on Twitter started talking about a photo of the rapper that was making the rounds. A quick search on Twitter led to the alleged photo. While MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) has not been able to independently verify the veracity or the origin of the photo’s contents, it shows what appears to be the rapper, taking a selfie, with his genitals and his anus well in the view. Searches revealed that the photo had earlier appeared on Reddit at least two weeks prior to this trend. Even on Twitter, the supposed photo was shared as early as August 29.

On Twitter, it was shared on Wednesday by some users, without any context or any kind of information. Subsequently, many have reacted to it. One Twitter user wrote, “Why I just saw's Silento's b**tyhole just now… Y’all need help.”

Another wrote, “Pls whatever you do don't look at that Silento booty picture.”

“Just saw why Silento’s trending and I want that pic erased from my memory,” wrote another Twitter user.

But not everyone was concerned about the photo. Many were also concerned about the rapper’s behavior. One wrote, “Chile why Silento chasing ppl around w hatchets?”

Another wrote, “I know Silento’s hole is floating around but that man walked up into someone’s house with a hatchet looking for his girlfriend?”

One Twitter user attempted to connect the two situations, and wrote, “So basically Silento was arrested for entering some random person's home carrying a hatchet looking for this ‘girlfriend’ person who presumably leaked his nudes, and not just any nude like d*** pics but his gaping prolapsed hole... so he got outted kinda.”
