'Siesta Key' Reunion: Madisson-Ish engaged, fans say he proposed so she wouldn't bring up long-distance issues

Fans are not entirely sure of Madisson and Ish's relationship and are questioning why the latter was away while she was in LA

'Siesta Key' Season 3 reunion was explosive. Brandon Gomes revealed he found out recently he has a child with a girl he hooked up with 10 months ago. He was in a lot of pain and so was girlfriend Camilla Cattaneo, who was in the dark about his life and child.

The cast members were drowned in concern when Madisson Hausburg's big news cheered them up. She announced her "perfect" engagement with long-time boyfriend Ish Soto. The news served as a breath of fresh air because everyone had their doubts and concerns about them. First, they are two decades apart, and then, they are mostly in different cities at any given point in time. Even as they shared the happy news with the cast, Ish joined the virtual reunion from Canada. Initially, the distance had started to work against them but now they have probably figured a way to shape their lives around his schedule. They looked happy and have bought a house together, which is also a big step.

Madisson may be happy where her life is headed but she is not pleased with the way his and Ish's story played out on the show. She shared how it bothered her that the viewers or the cast members never saw the happy bits of their relationship, which is true. Because, every time they appeared on the show, they were either bickering about who should move where or they were dealing with the insecurities creeping up from the long-distance relationship that they were tackling at the time. 

Meanwhile, fans continue to have their doubts. They are not entirely sure of Madisson and Ish's relationship and are questioning why Ish was away while Madisson was in LA. "Engaged but he’s still away?? Maddison you deserve better #SiestaKey," a fan commented, while another shared: "So now Madisson is in LA, engaged, and still alone #SiestaKey."

"Ish gave Madisson that ring, so she’d stfu for a min because it still looks like he’s out of town most of the time #SiestaKey," a viewer expressed. "Next up Madisson gets impregnated and Ish still lives most the year in Canada. Get ready to be a married single mom, sis #SiestaKey," another posted.

'Siesta Key' Season 3 finale and reunion aired on MTV on August 25, Tuesday.
