'Siesta Key': Juliette breaks up with Robby, Amanda kisses ex JJ while Kelsey reveals her feelings for Jake
Today 'Siesta Key' set stage for an explosive episode week. The focus was on the changing dynamics between the existing couples and how they are on the brink of a split.
In the coming week, we will see what could be termed as the beginning of new relationships: Amanda Miller-JJ, Kelsey Owens-Jake and Alex Kompothecras-Juliette Porter. These could very well be one-night stands and in Alex-Juliette's case just a friend trying to console while she moves on from her breakup with Robby Hayes.
However, it's an edited promo and there's no way to be certain of these changing equations. But it would be an interesting move on Juliette's part if she told Robby that they should part ways.
Juliette has stayed out of the inner circle of 'Siesta Key' for quite some time and it was all because she wanted to devote time to her new relationship with Robby. But all of that began to change at the housewarming party where her best friend, Chloe Trautman, told her she should stay away from Robby because he doesn't mean well and has been using her for personal gains. They got into a major fight, which led to them hitting at each other and eventually a police report that was filed by Chloe on Cara Geswelli's insistence.
Then came the Greece trip, for which she had to let go of her first job. Upon returning to the beach town, she expressed an interest in talking it out with Alex and her other friends to understand if she could still be a part of the group with Robby sticking around. Alex too warned her about Robby using her but she wasn't willing to listen and asked him to be happy for her instead.
Meanwhile, Kelsey kisses Jake, which everyone saw coming; especially, the way they were at Amanda's birthday event. However, Jared Kelderman wasn't very pleased to see these two getting to know each other.
Jared and Kelsey kissed earlier. At the party, Kelsey tried her hand at a game of tennis while casually flirting with Jake as Jared looked on. Hours into it, Alex and Jake got into a verbal spat and when it was beginning to heat up, Kelsey asked Jake out for a drink and later questioned him on why he was getting into an argument with someone like Alex. She also shared how she cared about Jake.
In other news, Amanda and JJ's story is set to take an interesting turn too. After throwing a fit upon learning that JJ was invited to the group's boat party, Amanda said he was her ex and that he cheated on her multiple times. She was upset but that didn't stay for long, especially not after JJ showed off his wakeboarding skills. Days later, he even chills with him and swims in the sea while lying to Brandon (who she is casually dating) that she was at the beach with Chloe.
In the preview, we see the lovebirds walk the streets hand-in-hand and even sharing a kiss. Will she keep this from Brandon? What does this mean for Brandon and Amanda? Time will tell.
