'Siesta Key' Finale: Better friends or lovers? Fans want Madisson-Joe to date and have own spin-off series

Fans think Joe is a better match for Madisson

It's 'Siesta Key' Season 3 finale tonight and obviously, there are going to be tears. But MTV surprised its viewers by introducing newer plotlines. Madisson Hausburg and her boyfriend Ish Soto threw a farewell party, just that their guests had no idea about it, which explains Joe's surprise. Joe, Madisson's friend from acting classes, used to read lines with Madisson and from the looks of it, was hoping they would get somewhere with their friendship. But before he could take a step in that direction, Madisson made it clear that she was moving to Los Angeles with Ish. Joe asked: "Are you sure?" 

Madisson and Ish's relationship has had a rocky start and to make things even difficult for the couple, her dad disapproves of it. Madisson and Ish are two decades apart and that has been a concern for many. That and the fact that Ish travels frequently made it tough for them to come to a consensus about where they should go from where they were. 

At first, Madisson didn't want to leave Siesta Key but Ish promised to be around for her if they moved to LA. Madisson readily agreed but fans think it was not such a great idea and that they would soon fall apart. They seem more invested in Madisson and Joe's friendship with some even pointing out it would be a good idea for them to date. 

"Madisson so positive about this relationship that is just doomed. She shoulda had a break from Ish to see where things with Joe could have gone. #SiestaKey," a fan commented.

"Why is Joe suddenly a large part of Madisson’s story, but I’m living for his shade. “You sure??” #SiestaKey," another viewer wondered why suddenly Joe was speaking up.

"I am upset over missing everything with Joe from acting class and Madisson. Here's to hoping they get a Hills like spinoff when they both move to LA. #siestakey," a user shared hoping to see more of their friendship. 

"I vote for Madisson to stay in siesta key and start dating Joe, who's with me #siestakey," said a fan simply wishing Madisson changed her mind.
