'Siesta Key': Kelsey accuses Garrett of cheating, but why did Juliette try to slap him instead of her?
The drama on 'Siesta Key' has shot through the roof. The Juliette Porter-Alex Kompothecras-Alyssa Salerno drama has settled for the time being as they all move on to their own lives with the hope of never crossing paths ever again. Meanwhile, Garrett Miller and Kelsey Owens continue to discuss the possibility that Garrett could be cheating on her with the girls he has been training.
Garrett and Kelsey have a rocky past and it wouldn't be strange if they fall into that trap again. It's hard to trust when you have separated on a bitter note. The couple used to date each other but in just months they decided to part ways but not mutually. Kelsey and Alex's perfectly-timed kiss haunted Garrett. He wasn't ready to believe that someone he knew and loved would do that to him.
This prompted Garrett to plan revenge, of sorts. He and the 'Siesta Key' gang were hanging out at a party when Juliette approached him and they kissed for a good minute with Kelsey seated just a few feet away. This was the last straw.
Ever since then, they have gone out with different people but have not found the right one. They are in love and deserve each other but perhaps Garrett needs to show that emotion more often. Just a couple of weeks ago, he stepped up and told Jake Peterson (Kelsey's ex) to stay away from her. That was a solid move and had Kelsey convinced but tonight's episode didn't offer good news.
After Kelsey showed Garrett a photo of his with a random girl, Juliette tries to slap him. Maybe she was trying to stand up for her friend or it reminded her of the numerous times Alex cheated on her. It could be both of those things as well. Either way, Kelsey is nervous about what is to unfold. At least that is what her tweet said last week: "Next weeks episode gives me anxiety for so many reasons." Let's hope the couple is able to iron their differences and, for once, keep the misunderstandings aside.
