'Siesta Key': Alyssa breaks pregnancy news to her family, her mom cries but not out of happiness
For Alex Kompothecras, moving on has been easy. He was quickly able to jump from Juliette Porter to Alyssa Salerno. And, in all honesty, the shift has served him well. He's happy and not raising a ruckus, which used to be a common occurrence earlier. And now, both Alex and Alyssa are ready to take their relationship to the next level. They are having a baby together. But is everyone as happy as they are?
When Alyssa broke the news to her parents, her mother let out faint sobs while saying "I am worried." What could she be worried about is something that the episode will unfold but the fear could stem from the fact that Juliette has been around and when she learns the news of them expecting a baby, she might take action which could impact the couple's future.
Even though Juliette began this season dating Robby Hayes, she has always gone back to Alex and has secretly wanted to get back with him, or else she wouldn't make the effort to iron out their differences. Her need to be with Alex has reached a point where her friends are bailing out on her. Previously, at the gala, Juliette called Alyssa and told her how she slept with her boyfriend in Nashville several times. Amanda Miller was in shock that Juliette would even go to such lengths to get Alex back into her life.
However, Alyssa has always been unphased about Juliette's antics and has handled it quite well in the past. She knows when and how to draw the line without Alex having to interrupt. There have been multiple occasions during which Alyssa has had to bring out her claws because Juliette just wouldn't back off.
Meanwhile, fans were more surprised about Alyssa not being bothered about Alex cheating on her. "Alyssa’s level of unbotheredness about Alex's cheating... if stand by your man no matter what was a person, it’d be her. #SiestaKey," a viewer commented while another shared "The show is so much better without Alex in it #SiestaKey Alyssa's scenes are a little weird though lol."
