Shooting range uses images of ISIS bride Shamima Begum as target practice after 'record number of requests'
The owners of the shooting range defended their actions, saying the move was in response to her "lack of remorse and empathy" in interviews over joining the Islamic State
A shooting range in the UK is reportedly using an image of ISIS bride Shamima Begum as target practice after it received a "record number" of requests from customers to do so. The range in Wallasey, Merseyside, called the Ultimate Airsoft Range, faced intense backlash after it began using the teenager's face for shooting practice.
The owners of the shooting range, Michael Jones and Emma Saul, however, defended their actions by saying that the move was in response to Begum's "lack of remorse and empathy" in television interviews for her actions, according to the Daily Mail. Pictures taken from inside the shooting range by a visitor show an image of Begum's face placed on the target and torn apart with at least 100 bullet holes, reports said.
