An exchange indicates that Christian Obumseli was hospitalized after Clenney gashed him during a fight and told him 'enjoy the hospital' after the incident
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Christian Obumseli's toxic relationship with OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney is revealed in the shocking new text messages. The star's boyfriend wrote her a series of strange messages, one of which accused her of cheating on him and "slapping" his stitches, just weeks before she was accused of fatally stabbing him, the New York Post reported.
Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office made the shocking messages public that provides insight into the allegedly abusive behavior Obumseli experienced during his turbulent relationship with the OnlyFans star. Just a few weeks before his April death, the cryptocurrency trader, 27, wrote to Clenney, "Is love going to kill me? February was the worst month I had so far." He wrote, "I got cheated on. I got called that word again. I got slapped in my stitches that has re-opened multiple times and it’s not healing fast enough," Miami Herald reported.
The young couple's tumultuous relationship came to a sad end after she called the police to report that he had tried to assault her. Clenney is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly stabbing Obumseli in the chest during an argument in their Miami apartment. Clenney has 2 million Instagram followers and once had a successful OnlyFans account under the name Courtney Tailor. She has been portrayed by prosecutors as the manipulative aggressor in their tumultuous relationship, and prosecutors have continually released incriminating evidence to support the allegation.
Obumseli said he dismissed Clenney in an October 2021 text message when he stabbed him in the leg, according to a Miami Herald report Thursday. He wrote, "I still gave you a good day even though my leg was hurting because my girlfriend stabbed me. Did I make you feel like s**t for stabbing me? No just sucked it up and hoped tomorrow will be better." The texts show Clenney treating Obumseli like a timid subordinate, at one point telling him she was tired of explaining to you how to act." Another conversation indicates Obumseli needed medical attention after being cut by Clenney during a fight. After the incident, she told him to "enjoy the hospital" Obumseli sent Clenney numerous text messages from his hospital bed questioning her disregard for him while he was recovering from the injuries she inflicted, the New York Post reported.
Days after the incident, she expressed regret to him. Clenney wrote, "I love you so much, Christian. I should have been at the hospital with you and I should have slept next to you I always have." Obumseli also considers how her career would be destroyed if her actions are made public. He wrote, "Like honestly think to yourself I’ve cut this person’s face I have stabbed him I have called him out of his name to the highest level. And he could if he was an evil person he can ruin my career he can go to the police go to the courtroom."
Clenney, who is pleading self-defense in the case, was charged with second-degree murder in August and could now spend the remainder of her life behind bars if found guilty.
