PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VIRGINIA: A sheriff’s deputy who allegedly vowed to kill anyone who tried to give vaccinations to his kids has been fired from his job. Aaron Hoffman was working with the Prince William County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia until he was sacked for allegedly making the shocking comments. He also allegedly issued death threats against former president Barack Obama and Chief Justice John Roberts.

Prince William County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on Facebook on Saturday, December 26, “Early yesterday our agency was notified about disturbing comments being made on several social media outlets by a deputy sheriff. Sheriff Hill was notified and ordered an Internal Affairs investigation. The investigation has concluded and the deputy has been terminated from employment with our office. We thank the public for bringing this to our attention.”

Freelance journalist Molly Conger also shared screenshots of Hoffman’s unacceptable posts and comments on her Twitter page. One of the deputy’s alleged posts read, “I will kill anyone that touches my children without my consent. Not a threat, but a promise!” He posted this after the Washington DC council in October passed a bill that allows kids to get vaccinated without the consent of their parents.

It has been said that the man using the pseudonym wethepeople allegedly said these on the conservative microblogging site, Parler — reportedly used by conspiracy theorists and right-wing extremists supporting President Donald Trump.

Taking to Twitter, Conger wrote, “people prince william county sheriff's deputy aaron hoffman is ready to kill: nurses administering vaccines, supreme court justice john roberts, barack obama, "the mentally ill" (people who think he should wear a mask).”

Hoffman, who was working as the deputy for the last 15 years, denied any wrongdoing. He gave an interview to The Washington Post in which he said, “I did not make those posts. I’m trying to figure out who did.” He also said that he will take help of a lawyer after getting fired from the job and insisted that he was not “a threat to the public”.

Another alleged post by Hoffman, which was shared by Conger on Twitter, read: “Find the homes of every Governor, mayor, attorney general, liberal judge, senator, congressman and every major media/social media CEO… find them, remove them from their sanctuary”. He added, “Bring the nightmare to where they lay their heads and kiss their loved ones.”

The former deputy also said that “the only way I’m entering DC” is armed. “Now is the time for action. Violent revolutionary action against the enemy inside our gates. DC is meaningless without the states and most representatives will be attending remotely from their homes,” he allegedly stated.

Several people on social media expressed their views over Hoffman’s firing and his disturbing statements. One user commented on Facebook, “How about arresting him and charging him with sedition? This cannot be just a case of firing someone. What he did is textbook seditious. Possibly even treason.”

Another wrote, “Wouldn’t just terminating him make him a greater threat? A disgruntled ex sheriff who know I fly broke the law and threatened the lives of our governors, selected officials and judges has nothing to lose now. I hope you‘re going to be monitoring him at least to ensure he doesn’t make good on those threats.”
