NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Oprah Winfrey faced criticism on Greg Gutfeld's Fox News late-night show for her luxurious gift recommendations featured in her 2023 'Favorite Things' list for Christmas.

The show host dedicated a segment to calling out the TV personality for including exceptionally pricey items in her annual 'Favorite Things' list.

His guests for the evening joined in, poking fun at Oprah's selections and also criticizing her handling of the Maui Wildfires situation.

Through her website OprahDaily.com, Winfrey maintains a connection with her fans and followers, keeping them informed about the happenings in the 'Oprah universe.'

'Favorite Things' is one of the concepts Oprah has been consistently employing in recent years, aiming to assist individuals who might be struggling to choose holiday gifts as the year draws to a close.

However, it's undeniable that not everyone can readily afford the majority of the items featured on Winfrey's list.

Despite her aim to promote businesses owned by women of color and veterans, the list does tend to lean towards the high-end, luxury side.

Gutfeld's guests claim Oprah Winfrey hasn't read her list of 'Favorite Things'

As Gutfeld engaged his guests for their opinions, comedian Kat Timpf highlighted a gift that, while not necessarily expensive, struck her as peculiar.

The item in question was a journal called 'I'm Dead. Now what?' designed for individuals to record significant life details that might be useful after their passing.

Timpf remarked, "Hand this to someone on Christman, I dare you!" in reference to the journal.

The baton was then given to the frequent guest Tyrus who mentioned one of the most expensive items on the list: a $999 worth pizza oven.

"Anyone who wants a $1000 pizza oven, you're going to get what Kat picked out," he quipped, before humorously asserting, "Oprah has never read this just like I never read the lists my kids send me."

Another guest, Michael Loftus, raised the recent controversy surrounding Winfrey when she posted a video with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, urging people to contribute to aid the Maui Wildfires.

The duo faced criticism for this move, with social media users accusing them of evading their own responsibilities as affluent celebrities.

Loftus pointed out, "You know what else wasn't on there? Anything about Maui. It seems like she and the Rock just did that one video, and like, really, people of Maui, they got screwed!"

Ashley St Clair joined in to express her agreement with his perspective.

St Clair remarked, "When I observed this list and came across the $95 cookies, I thought, 'This is exactly why I have an issue with this woman.'"

St Clair continued, "What happened to the children of Maui she was supposed to help? Could you imagine being one of the people in Maui who is victimized by this and this woman's going in curating a list of $95 cookies? For the bourgeoise?"

He then expressed, "I just can't wrap my head around how insufferable she is."
