‘Shark Tank’: How Robert Herjavec swooped into Daymond John's offer and saved Suds2Go with his $200,000 deal
A beautiful true story can take you places. Something similar happened on ‘Shark Tank’ Season 12 Episode 21, when a husband and wife duo from Gilbert, Arizona, took portability to a whole new level with their one-of-a-kind handwashing device.
Gabe Trevizo and Cindy Trevizo are eighth-grade sweethearts and their love story won many hearts when they pitched their product on the Tank! The pair narrated how the combination of the water bottle and foaming soap dispenser works. “As parents of four active children under the age of eight, we quickly realized that something as simple as washing hands when away from home, getting hands truly clean, can be a major challenge. That’s why we created Suds2Go,” the two wrote on their website.

What are Suds2Go sales?
While presenting their product, the couple said that they have been selling it on their website since February 2021. Gabe Trevizo then said that their total sales were 392,000. Shedding light on their background, Gabe said he lost his job and Cindy then took up a teaching job. In between, the pair did several odd jobs to support their family. While Cindy worked as a waitress, Gabe did everything he could to earn money, even picking up trash.
The two then explained how they started the business with $80,000 from their savings account and the Kickstarter campaign. They managed to collect $90,000 as savings but they also had a personal loan of about $150,000. The couple, who are parents to four kids, said they were seeking $200,000 for a 10% stake in their company.
Who cracked the deal?
Gabe and Cindy expressed their wish to expand distribution in other countries so that their product could be a big hit. After listening to their tale, the Sharks were quite impressed. Kevin O’ Leary offered his thoughts but said he was out. Mark Cuban congratulated the couple but said that he had seen too many others doing the same thing.
Robert Herjavec and Lori Greiner also opted out. Daymond John then offered them a $200,000 deal for 22.5% stake. As Gabe began to ask Daymond if he would do it for 20%, Robert jumped in and offered them a deal for $200,000 for a 15% stake! Delighted to get the offer, Gabe and Cindy quickly said yes.
They really have one another's backs!

Many fans were impressed with the product. "#Suds2Go that's a smart product line and it fits for the times," one posted. Another said, "Think the product is neat, but you'll have to carry it everywhere you go."
