‘Shark Tank’ Season 12 Episode 5: FitFighter grabs $250,000 deal but is it a ‘great match’ for Daniel Lubetzky?
‘Shark Tank’ never ceases to surprise viewers and sharks alike with its amazing products. This week, the first one is an Iraq war veteran from Baltimore, Maryland, who "tries to work out a deal with the Sharks for her unique fitness system intended to help one train like a hero." Sarah Apgar impresses the judges with her pitch. Narrating her story, she says, "I lost my youngest soldier... and I told myself this is the most important moment in leadership."
Kevin O'Leary lauds her and says, "You are such an underachiever!" Lori Leiner adds, "You do women proud." Shark Daniel Lubetzky tweeted, "At a time like this, I think @SarahApgar can be a huge inspiration for our country. It’s obvious that she's committed to her community and passionate about uniting people through the spirit of service. #SharkTank."

"The app model is free and then we do have a $19 where we train people with the full workout model," she tells the Sharks about FitFighter. Not just that, Apgar also said she has 302 subscribers currently. Asking for $250,000 for 15% stake, she manages to pitch the product well.
However, Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin soon opt-out. Daniel Lubetzky offers 25% for the same investment. A little hesitant, she counters it with 20% but soon says yes to "co-captain" Daniel for a 25% stake! Many viewers were impressed with how she pitched the product even while working out. "The fact that Sarah Apgar is continuing the pitch while demonstrating the workout is impressive! #FitFighter #SharkTank," one said and another posted, "Okay Mrs FitFighter just made me tired! No wonder firefighters are so Buff - I've never seen one overweight!"
A third chimed in, "I salute our troops. This one is one strong woman. @fitfightertrain @ABCSharkTank #SharkTank #FitFighter." Another thought, "Glad she got a deal! This product is a great match with KIND bars, too. @DanielLubetzky #SharkTank."
