Who doesn't love a bag of delicious and crispy chips coated in a yummy spice and herb mix? Whether you're watching a movie or typing out a lengthy report, a nice big bowl of snacks next to you will definitely keep you going. Most snack items are greasy leaving your fingers dirty. This means after you finish your snacks you'll have to leave your couch or desk to go wash your hands. So does this mean you'll have to give up on snacking while you're busy doing some important work? No, not any more thanks to Snactiv.

Snactiv is a multi-tasking snacking tool of the future that keeps your hands clean and your focus on the things that matter. The brand's founders Kevin Choi and Edwin Cho will soon be appearing on 'Shark Tank' ready to pitch for their brand before the sharks- Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran, and guest Shark Kevin Hart. While we will have to wait to watch if this nifty tool will appeal to sharks, in the meanwhile, you can read all about Snactiv here.

What is Snactiv?

Snactiv is nothing but simple finger chopsticks that you can wear as a ring on your index and middle finger, which can be used to pick your snack of choice using these chopsticks and enjoy it without getting your fingers dirty. This means you no longer have to take a snack break while you're in the middle of doing something important, but multi-task between snacking and doing whatever you want to do without any interruptions. The brand's website describes the product as, "Snactiv is a multi-tasking snacking tool of the future that keeps your hands clean and your focus on the things that matter."

"Snactiv is a utility patent-pending, completely unnecessary, but very cool snacking tool with one function: to shove more snacks into your huge mouth without interrupting your activities or getting your crap covered in grease or snack debris. You never have to put Snactiv down because it’s literally attached to you like that one tinder date who professed their love to you 38 minutes into your first date at the Olive Garden. That means you can focus on things that actually matter like getting a job," claims the brand.

Snactiv is really simple to use. You just have to attach the tool to your index and middle finger, and voila now you can enjoy a snack anytime you want as the Snactiv tool acts as an extension of your fingers, which can be used to pick up your snack and munch on it while keeping your hands clean.

Who are the founders?

Kevin Choi and Edwin Cho are the founders of Inoobi, the creator of the Snactiv product. Snactiv comprises of a team of designers, engineers and entrepreneurs with experience developing high end hardware and software, to simple accessories and toys. "We reunited after working together at a hyper-growth startup as well as a Fortune 500 company.
Companies we worked for include Mattel, Disney, Hasbro, Fuhu, and ZipRecruiter. We launched products for brands including Minecraft, Jurassic Park, Marvel, Frozen, Thomas and Friends, Netflix, Sanrio, Barbie, Hot Wheels, etc. The list goes on! In short, we have the experience to develop and launch a product quickly and at the highest level of quality.
Our Design and Marketing teams are in Los Angeles, CA and our manufacturing team is based out of Hong Kong," the duo shared on the brand's website.

What is the cost and where to buy Snactiv from?

A pair of Snactiv costs $15, and for an additional $3 you can get a case to store your precious finger chopsticks when not in use. The tools are currently available in two variants- dark mode (black color) and light mode (white color). You can get your very own Snactiv from the brand's website here

The product has received several rave reviews from its customers. A customer named Abigail wrote, "These are seriously dope. Seems like something goofy, but it's not. It why I bought it - as I work from my computer, sometimes you want to snack - but a) don't want to get the keyboard gross, and b) don't want to get keyboard fingers in my mouth either. Quality is excellent, they just work. If you want to snack and don't want food stuff on your equipment, this is for you. Even if you're not very coordinated - it just works."

Where is Snactiv now?

Snactiv began a Kickstarted campaign in April 2021, and managed to raise a coll $41,700 on the crowdfunding platform. In October 2021, the founders updated that the campaign's supporters would soon be receiving their Snactiv soon.

Who will steal the deal?

Lori Greiner or Kevin O'Leary, or even guest Shark Kevin Hart might close the deal. Although the brand's sales numbers and profit margins will ultimately be the major deciding factor for the sharks on whether to invest in the business or not. So, we will just have to wait and watch to see if the Sharks even make a deal.
