Shannon Yusuf Ingram: Amber alert issued for Apple Valley 2-year-old allegedly abducted by dad
APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA: The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the case of a missing child in the area and have issued an amber alert regarding the same. The child, Shannon Yusuf Ingram, 2, is said to have been taken away by his non-custodial father. The police have asked for those with information to come forward.
The boy was last seen wearing a blue baby shark hoodie and gray jeans. He also had on blue slip-on shoes. He has brown eyes and a shaved head with black hair growing back. He also wore a silver necklace. According to CBS, a vehicle that may have been used in the incident was found at the 100 block of Ruth Street North in the St Paul neighborhood.

The boy’s father, the suspect, is Shannon Dawayne Ingram, 30. He has been described as a black man with dreadlocks, a beard, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a royal blue colored hoodie. Dwayne allegedly weighs 220 pounds and is 5’10 feet tall.
Yusuf is said to have been taken shortly before 6 pm on Sunday, October 30. The amber alert was issued after 10.15 pm. The Minnesota Central Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released a statement on Twitter that reads, “AMBER ALERT: The Apple Valley Police Department is requesting the public’s help finding an abducted 2-year-old boy named Shannon Yusef Ingram. He goes by Yusef. He is a Black boy with brown eyes and brown hair.”
The thread continues, “He was last seen wearing a blue Baby Shark hoodie, silver necklace, gray jeans and blue slip-on shoes. Police are looking for Yusef’s non-custodial father, Shannon Dawayne Ingram, 30. He is believed to have taken Yusef from an address in Apple Valley.”
“Shannon Ingram is approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 220 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a royal blue hoodie. If you have any information about this abduction, you’re asked to call the Apple Valley Police Department at 651-322-2323 or 911,” the statement added.

Cops also released a photo of Dawayne, the alleged abductor.
