PLANT CITY, FLORIDA: A Florida prisoner made headlines for duping a court-ordered drug test which she hilariously failed. Shannon Hunter, 44, of Plant City, was arrested for possessing painkillers without a prescription and theft. Hunter pleaded guilty to felony drug charges in January.

However, the 44-year-old was ordered a court-ordered drug test and required to submit a urine sample to probation officers last week, according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun. Hunter apparently tried to dupe the officers in an attempt to pass the drug test by using a mixture of “soda and tap water,” that the Florida woman had hidden “inside herself” in a pill bottle, police documents show.

'Soda and tap water!'

According to Shannon Hunter's arrest affidavit, she was busted after she “attempted to use a prescription pill container full of an unknown liquid to pass her urinalysis.” While many attempts to pass a drug test through synthetic urine or urine obtained from a "clean" individual, Hunter's strategic approach to filling the pill container with a mixture of “soda and tap water” would have regardlessly resulted in a failed sample. The 44-year-old was previously convicted of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, domestic battery, narcotics possession, and driving without a license, according to the outlet.

Furthermore, Hunter was arrested for failing the urine test, during which she allegedly “admitted to hiding the pill container inside of herself” to the police officers. The 44-year-old pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of urinalysis fraud on February 24, according to the source. Hunter was sentenced to a maximum of 20 days in the county jail. Moreover, the Florida woman was ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $500, reported the source.

'Add some gin and hey!'

Internet users had a field with Shannon Hunter's approach to pass the drug test. One user wrote on Twitter, "Drug Tester: Why is it fizzing?" Another user tweeted, "Coke and sprite mixed together." A third user mockingly commented, "Add some gin and hey." A fourth user comment read, "this is the most irrelevant news story ever." Another user mockingly wrote, "She should have used shampoo, and spilled some on her head."
