'Shang-Chi' star Simu Liu reportedly DATING digital marketing manager Allison Hsu
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Looks like ‘Marvel’ star Simu Liu has finally found his special someone. There’s always a lot of curiosity among fans about their favorite stars’ dating life and they want to know all the minor details about how they met and that’s what fans are trying to do after Liu had someone special by his side on the premiere of the latest movie, ‘Violent Night’.
On Tuesday, November 29, Liu attended the premiere of the movie starring David Harbour as Santa Claus who is ready to fight and beat the s**t out of people if he is forced to. The movie had its premiere in Los Angeles and a lot of celebrities from Hollywood, including Liu. The actor nabbed all the attention after he attended the premiere with Allison Hsu, a Digital Marketing Manager, who works at Interscope Records, according to People Magazine. The duo was seen wearing matching Christmas sweaters during the premiere and smiled for the camera.

Even though there hasn’t been any confirmation from the actor whatsoever, a picture was uploaded to Hsu’s Instagram account made everyone curious about their relationship status. Hsu is one of the brightest talents working in the field of digital marketing and has a long history of working with several big stars. In 2014, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and majored in Bachelor of Arts (Economics, Film, Television, and Digital Media). She began her professional career in 2015 and worked as an Intern with Giorgio Armani. She was the VIP Public Relations Intern and learned a lot of things about the fashion industry. Meanwhile, in 2016, she worked in the same position as Jimmy Choo.
Since 2017, she has been working at Interscope Records and started as a Revenue Intern. However, since 2020, she has been working as a Digital Marketing Manager at Interscope Records and works closely with a lot of stars.
As a DMM, she leads all things digital and social for celebrities such as Billie Eilish, Finneas, Lady Gaga, Holly Humberstone, and several other talents working with Interscope Records. In 2021, Hsu was featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of people who are destined to be big superstars in their field of work. According to Forbes, the campaigns created by Hsu for Eilish and Gaga have managed to create a lot of impact in their reach.
Even though we don’t know when she met Liu for the first time, she did upload a photo recently where the duo can be seen embracing each other. Hsu captioned the photo with a simple smile emoji.
In September, Liu made it clear that he was single and added that he was working on his mental health as he was going through a breakup. While making an appearance at a tech conference Dreamforce in San Francisco, Liu said, “I experienced moments where I'm living my dream and it didn't quite feel like I was where I needed to be with myself. I'm also going through a breakup. That's probably also contributing to it but that's okay, I'll be okay.”
In July 2022, it was reported that Liu was reportedly in a relationship with Jade Bender, and made an appearance together at the 2022 ESPY Awards at the end of July.
