This is what the cast of 'Shake it Up' is up to now
It's been five years since 'Shake it Up' ended its beautiful run on television. Most of the cast has moved on to bigger and better things. So where are they now? Let's have a look!
1. Caroline Sunshine
Caroline's name may be 'Sunshine' but while she acted as 'Tinka' in 'Shake It Up' she had a mean competitive streak. After the show ended, Caroline graduated high school and went on to travel the world on a mission trip in 2014. Recently, Caroline is joining the White House press office in the role of press assistant. Hope she doesn't resign, too.
2. Zendaya
Zendaya played the zany Rocky Blue on the show. Following the end of 'Shake It Up' Zendaya's star power only grew once the show ended. The young actress has made several appearances in 'Dancing With the Stars' as a contestant and 'Project Runway' as a guest judge. She also made an appearance in Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' music video.
3. Bella Thorne
Cece was Rocky's best friend and Bella Thorne fit the bill perfectly. When her stint at 'Shake It Up' ended, Bella went on to star in movies like 'Blended' and 'The DUFF'. Recently, Bella starred in the remake of 2006's 'Midnight Sun.'
4. Roshon Fegan
Roshon played the very talented Ty on the show. Just like his television character, Roshon is a freestyle dancer who learned his moves by watching Michael Jackson and other influential dancers. He also a songwriter, producer, actor, and an artist. He appeared on the 14th season of 'Dancing With the Stars'.
5. Davis Cleveland
Cece's little brother Flynn was played by Davis Cleaveland. He's had a running career in acting, often making appearances in shows like 'How I Met Your Mother', 'Hannah Montana', and even briefly starred in 'Desperate Housewives'. He also starred n the Nickelodeon movie 'Rufus' and 'Rufus 2'.
6. Adam Irigoyen
Adam plated the role of Deuce Martinez, the coolest best guy friend ever, in the series. He has a new movie called 'Underdog Kids' coming out this summer.
7. Kenton Duty
Kento played Tinka's twin brother Gunther and he was just so darn FABULOUS. The actor left the show in 2012, following which he was briefly a part of musical group Invasion. The rockstar quit the group and went forward with his solo career. In 2014, Kenton released a lyrical video for his song 'Dare To Love' with Mandy Rain in 2014.
8. Ainsley Bailey
Deuce's eccentric girlfriend Dina Garcia was played by Ainsley Bailey. She's always had acting in her blood, first appearing on a stage production of 'The Princess Diaries' as the lead character Mia before her stint on 'Shake it Up'. She does have future acting plans but is currently concentrating on her comedy career.
