'Shahs of Sunset': Should Tommy Feight go to jail for just breaking plant pots from Reza Farahan's yard?
In this season of 'Shahs of Sunset,' Mercedes 'MJ' Javid is going through a lot. From getting her uterus removed to her best friend Reza Farahan humiliating her by sharing confidential medical details, and now learning her husband, Tommy Feight, could serve jail time for vandalism. MJ has already endured more than she needed to.
She was in the ER, getting ready for a life-changing surgery when her best friend of 30 years, Reza, called up to confront her about the whole Adam Neely-Ali Ashouri situation. Adam, Reza's husband, had been sending nude texts to Ali for quite some time now. MJ apparently convinced Ali that he was being sexually harassed.
Reza had been fuming for a while until one day when he got the perfect opportunity to vent it all out. MJ, Reza, and their friends were at a pool party (with quite a few strangers attending it as well) when it all started to crumble. Destiney Rose was trying to calm MJ down but she wouldn't listen and even went on to call Reza "disgusting."
Later, Reza left the scene after he yelled and humiliated MJ amid a bunch of strangers. "Your uterus exploded because you had 10 abortions," he said. This deeply hurt MJ because one wouldn't expect that from a dear friend.
Both were hurt and had reasons of their own. While MJ expected Reza to visit her at the hospital as she struggled with her delivery, the latter was shocked to have learned that his friend could spread rumors about his marriage and Adam. Either way, the reaction could've been controlled and the situation handled in a more mature fashion.
Tommy Feight, MJ's husband, couldn't take such vile statements from Reza and decided to vandalize Reza's property. He visited his home and threw around and broke some of his plants that sat in his yard. Tommy's movements were caught in the CCTV camera installed at the house. Completely taken aback by the reaction, Reza gets a restraining order against Tommy.
In the preview, we learn that the repercussions of vandalism are going to be serious and it could even be county jail time for Tommy. Even though MJ is visibly worried about the consequences, Tommy standing up for MJ was a class act. He had thrown a few pots around and that too to express his anger towards Reza. Violence is not okay, but Tommy's intentions won him fans.
