'Sexy Beast' Episode 8 Sneak Peek: Deedee Harrison gets attacked, Gal Dove comes to rescue

LONDON, ENGLAND: The much-awaited Episode 8 of 'Sexy Beast' premiered on Paramount+ on February 29, 2024. In the finale, significant unexpected twists unfold in the lives of Gal Dove (James McArdle) and Deedee Harrison (Sarah Greene).
The episode kicks off with the successful completion of the heist by Gal Dove and Don Logan (Emun Elliott), but their anticipated windfall turns into a series of complications and mishaps, leaving them in a more precarious situation than they imagined.
Deedee Harrison's dreams go haywire
In Episode 8 of 'Sexy Beast', Deedee Harrison, who had been struggling since leaving her previous job, finally starts to rebuild her life. She secures a new location for her own company, where she plans to produce her own adult films.
However, her newfound hope is shattered when she is attacked with acid upon returning home. While her face remains unharmed, her neck suffers burns. Gal Dove, who witnesses the accident rushes her to the hospital.
Devastated by the attack, Deedee realizes that her career in the film industry is now over, as she can no longer appear on screen with these scars.
Who attacked Deedee Harrison?
While not explicitly revealed, it's reasonable to speculate that Freddie McGraw (Nicholas Nunn) orchestrated the attack. The McGraw family has been targeting Deedee ever since she ended ties with their production company.
Employing various tactics, they've tried to intimidate her into abandoning her own venture. Undeterred. Adamant to pursue her dream, Deedee had decided that if she couldn't use her screen name of Veronica Ames, she would go ahead with a new name since it is her body and aura that attracts viewers in the first place.
In 'Sexy Beast' Episode 6, Deedee was sent to jail by the McGraws as a form of intimidation. Freddie subsequently visited her to deliver a warning.
Now when Dominic McGraw (Peter Ferdinando) is dead, and Teddy Bass (Stephen Moyer) has gone after their precious assets, Freddie is out for revenge against all.
Deedee Harrison breaks up with Gal Dove
After the accident, Gal Dove assures Deedee not to worry about the future. He informs her about a new club he's been given that could provide enough income for them to leave London in a few years. To his shock, Deedee asks him to leave her.
Earlier in the episode, Gal's mother had visited Deedee, asking her to distance herself from him. Already burdened with guilt for disrupting his marriage and family, and feeling overwhelmed by the scars on her body, Deedee believes she would be a hindrance to Gal and decides to push him away. Heartbroken, Gal chooses not to take ownership of the club.
With Don Logan and Gal Dove's life still in a mess, 'Sexy Beast' concludes on a cliffhanger.
