Masturbation should be taught to children as young as 8 years in school, sex educator suggests sparking disgust

Dawson's suggestions were not received well by social media users, most of whom criticized her and asked her to "let children be children"
UPDATED JAN 23, 2019

Viewers of ITV's 'This Morning' this past week were not too happy with the suggestions of Kate Dawson, a sex educator and porn researcher, who said children as young as eight years old should be taught about masturbation because it would help them become more comfortable with their bodies.

Speaking to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Dawson revealed she normally worked with both primary school and secondary school students to raise awareness about sexual health. She also said she started conversations about genitalia, masturbation, and pornography at such a young age because it was perfectly normal.
