Serial killer Wayne Ford was carrying a severed breast in his pocket when he walked into the sheriff's office in 1998 to surrender
When police reached to arrest truck driver Wayne Ford, who was obsessed with female breasts, in November 1998 he pulled out a severed breast covered in blood from his jacket pocket causing officers to turn away.
Ford, who was in a year-long cold-blooded murder spree, killed four women and violently raped and tortured three more who survived.
People will get a chance to know the story of his sickening murders as the saga is told in an episode of 'I Lived With a Killer' which features an interview with his older brother Rodney.
The sex maniac would pick women up in his pickup truck and rape them. He would then mutilate and murder them before dumping their bodies.
His sickening obsession with breasts began when he asked his wife to let him poke her nipples with safety pins.
He also once cooked the breasts of one of his victims and then stored them in a coffee jar.
Ford claimed that he would torture women for their pleasure and would leave his victims burnt and beaten.
He would then strangle and revive the victim by using CPR until he could no longer revive them.
His violent and twisted streak had initially come to light during his marriage to his first wife Kelly in 1981.
After their wedding, he started to demand that Kelly take part in dangerous and dark S&M activities.
He also wanted Kelly to wear a sheet over the rest of her body with only her breasts exposed.
Kelly told her therapist about her husband's violent behavior and asked him for a divorce which enraged him.
He started to stalk Kelly and when he could not find her, he released all of his rages on a random girl he saw on the street by seizing her purse and then biting at her breasts.
When he married his second wife Elizabeth, his behavior grew even more horrific.
Into the marriage, he developed "weird sexual habits".
He wanted her to have sex with other men in front of him and loved to poke at her nipples with safety pins.
When she got pregnant very soon he turned violent. In 1995, a small argument led to him choking her with his belt and then raped her.
He left her so scared that she fled the apartment and soon asked for a divorce. This is when Ford began his killing spree.
1997 saw his first victim, Jane Doe, 25, whom he had sex with inside the truck.
He strangled her to death as he wanted to heighten the women's orgasms via "erotic asphyxia".
He then dismembered her body and hid parts of it in his house and disposed of the rest in a nearby river.
His next victim was a young blonde hooker called Tina Gibbs from Las Vegas.
Ford raped and strangled her and revived her using CPR. He kept repeating this until he could revive her no more.
He stored the body for a while and then abandoned it.
Over the next four months, he kidnapped three women who survived to tell their tale.
His third victim was Lannett White in 1996 who was also subject to the multiple suffocation and resuscitation during sex.
Her body had also been dumped and was found in San Joaquin County.
His final victim was Patricia Tamez, 29. Her body was found with one breast removed near Hysperia.
In November 1998, Ford got drunk in a bar and called his brother to confess.
"He told me he’d done something bad, he hurt some people and he didn’t wanna hurt anybody anymore," his brother Rodney said.
When Rodney drove to his hotel room, Ford confessed all his crimes.
That same day, they went to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s department where Ford confessed.
He was charged with four counts of murder and sentenced to death for the murder of Tina Gibbs, Patricia Tamez, Lanett White, and Jane. Currently, he resides on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California.
