Sean Hannity slammed after he reports on Tim Scott's claim of Dems seeing illegal immigrants as potential voters

On Fox News' 'Hannity', Tim Scott slammed Joe Biden's inability to protect the border, calling it a strategy for Democrats to 'add to their polls'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During his appearance on 'Hannity', Sen Tim Scott, a 2024 presidential election hopeful, expressed his concerns about the escalating crisis at the Mexican border, emphasizing that Democrats seem more focused on accumulating votes than addressing the situation.

Scott's remarks came in response to recent reports of high-profile threats to national security being apprehended within the country long after the people illegally crossed the supposed porous border.

Among these individuals was a 29-year-old, identified as an "unlawfully present Mauritanian or Senegalese citizen," who was arrested in New York City in October after having allegedly crossed the border in Lukeville, Arizona, over 2,600 miles away.

After the show, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on Scott’s remarks against Democrats, only for him to get slammed by the netizens.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "2024 election is what caused Biden to start recognizing border crisis: @votetimscott."

Hannity’s post presented a video from his conversation with Tim Scott, where the senator said, "It's a simple concept: The president has sent a signal to the entire world that our border is insecure, unsafe, wide-open, and undermanned."

Scott pointed out that to ensure the safety of America, President Joe Biden must either complete the border wall or implement advanced technology and measures to secure the border.

He noted, "Instead of finishing the wall, they literally have been selling off the construction material for the wall. Instead of using available military-grade technology that sees underneath the ground and above a wall, they simply won't use it. Why, is the question. It's simple."

Furthermore, Scott suggested that Democrats may be actively seeking a new pool of potential voters, and he argued that illegal immigrants could represent an easily accessible future constituency for them, highlighting examples such as California, where illegal immigrants were apparently allowed to participate in municipal elections.

"[I]n my opinion, the reason why you see this administration so committed to an insecure, unsafe, wide-open border is because it adds to their polls," added the South Carolina senator.

Soon after Sean Hannity reported on Tim Scott blasting the Democrats and Joe Biden, netizens slammed the Fox News host. 

One wrote, "What’s happening Hannity I trusted you for truth and action," while another added, "Hypocrite liar by trade."

"Sean Hannity is a confirmed liar for his enrichment," said a person, as someone else noted, "Apparently nothing has stopped you from gaslighting!!! All done for the ratings and dollars!!"

Another user took a jab at Hannity saying, "This Con Artist Hannity is losing. Again," and one more expressed, "That’s BS, Sean."
