David Boreanaz plays the role of Jason Hayes in the CBS military drama ' SEAL Team' and after the Season 3 pilot titled ' Welcome to the Refuge' released, there are speculations about Jason's ability to battle his demons.

In the first episode, Jason had a powerful monologue where he thinks about the 40 names in his phone he can no longer call because they died in combat and wonders who the next one would be. "I scroll through my phones. I see their names. Sonny, Ray, Clay — wonder who will it be? I'm a better warrior than a husband or father and I need to be, or my brothers won't be home", he says.

In another scene, when asked what's bothering him, he says, "For the first time in life, I am facing an enemy I don't know how to fight." Calling the first episode "haunting", one fan wrote, "The S3 premiere of Seal Team was haunting. The voiceover of Jason talking about the cost of being a soldier, the numbers in his phone that will never ring, why he keeps fighting no matter the cost. Brilliantly written and executed - a fantastic start to the season #SEALTeam", and another one tweeted, "Powerful monologue from Jason Hayes on SEAL Team. Extraordinary, emotional writing."

"Jason's speech really hit home. There are men and women that put the life on the line every day, so my family and I be safe at home. Shows like SEAL TEAM remind me of their SACRIFICE. Thank You for reminding me #ThankYou #SealTeamCBS #SealTeamWriter," another tweet read.

Towards the end of the first episode, a man clacked off a suicide vest right in front of Jason, who was saved by Clay jumping on him. Fans are also concerned about Jason's fragile mental health and that incident might take his fears one notch higher.

"I love Jason with all my heart and soul, but I'm slightly concerned at the way he's not listening, hence the dumbass remark :( I hope someone gets him to listen in the next eps coming up", one fan wrote, and another one said, "Exactly. Jason’s mind isn’t in the game. He didn’t even hear here. #SEALTeam." Another user wrote: "Jason is drowning out the silence? He's got to find a way out of this. #SEALTeam."

What's more, a tweet from SEAL Team Writers read, "We hope you liked the season premiere of #SEALTeam! Tune in next week to see how Jason deals with his near-death experience..." and another fan posted, "OMG. @SEALTeamWriters you got to me. #SealTeam This is going to screw with Jason’s mind even more." As the new episode of 'SEAL Team' rolls out on Wednesday, October 9, it might shed more light on Jason's mind and whether or not he talks about his fears and insecurities.
