The ongoing San Diego Comic-Con 2019 had an important announcement for Marvel fans. 'Marvel's Agents of Shield'(Marvel's AoS) has spanned six stellar seasons, and the upcoming installment will be it's last. The sixth season is currently underway and the announcement was that Gregg and Co., who teamed up as earth's line of defense in 2013, will have one last run before hanging up their boots as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s agents.

During their inauguration appearance at Hall H this season, Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb announced the conclusion of ABC's superspy series. As reported by Deadline, Loeb, talking about the conclusion said, "When you know that’s what you’re doing, you can take greater risks, of life and death."

"Those kinds of decisions suddenly now are real on the table because you’re not playing how do we undo this when we get to the next season. You’re playing that this is going to be the end of the story," Loeb said.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent show will host its annual Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year, where cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, and Chloe Bennet will make appearances.  Fans will also be hoping to get a glimpse of what they can expect in the upcoming season.

'Marvel's AoS' has its last couple of weeks left and the previous episodes, 'Collision Course' - Parts I and II, have thrown fans surprises, both nasty and happy. There have been much-awaited reunions and in yet another shocker, Sarge (Clark Gregg) dies again. Is he gone for good again? Only time will tell.

The cast pretty much remains the same with Clark Gregg coming in as Sarge and not Coulson. Chloe Bennett will be back as Daisy aka Quake. Ming-Na Wen, Laen de Caestecker will reprise their roles as Melinda May and Leo Fitz respectively, especially Fitz, who probably needs saving as seen at the end of season 5.

Henry Simmons portrays Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie and will take on the role as S.H.I.E.L.D director. At the moment, it is unclear if there are any new additions to the cast ahead of season 7. The final season's launch date is yet to be announced.
