SDCC 2019: Marvel may surprise fans with a glimpse of MCU's Phase 4 during their many panels

Marvel has always been one of the key players at the San Diego Comic-Con, and this year too there is much to look out for. Fans who have gobbled up any tidbit of information about Phase 4 of the MCU will be hoping for some exciting updates at the event. Come July 20 and Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, will be on the stage of Hall H to give us some inside look at the future of the MCU.
However, there are also enough panels from Marvel to check out apart from just the movies. For starters, Marvel Comics will be part of the SDCC as well. Marvel's Ryan Penagos and CB Cebulski will unveil the 80th anniversary celebration issue, 'Marvel Comics #1000'.
The reveal is slated on Friday, July 19 at 12:30 pm in Room 5AB, and will be followed by a 'The Amazing Spider-Man' panel with editor Nick Lowe, writers Nick Spencer, Seanan Mcguire, and Frank Tieri who will tease what’s to come with the upcoming crossover 'Absolute Carnage.' This panel will happen at the same venue at 1:30 pm.
There are four more panels that Marvel fans can look out for. One of it has Thanos' creator, Jim Starlin, who will have an interactive session with fans about the Mad Titan's best years. The discussion will be moderated by ComicBook editor, Jim Viscardi. Titled 'Thanos! Thanos! Thanos!', the panel will take place on Thursday, July 18 at 10 am in Room 7AB.
We have witnessed six stellar seasons of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' and the seventh season that premieres this fall on ABC is fast approaching. Cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Henry Simmons, Natalia Nordova-Buckley, and Jeff Ward will be joined by producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, Jeff Bell, and Jeph Loeb to recap Season 6 finale and tease the upcoming season. The big tease will happen on July 18 at 3:30 pm.
The panel will take place at Hall H.

We can safely assume that there has been some sort of connection between the movies and the show, given the passing references, and hopefully, the tease may give us a sneak peek of the world post the 'blip' after 'Avengers: Endgame'.
Moving on to the most-anticipated Marvel panel at the comic-con. The Russo Brothers will be at the SDCC on July 19 at Hall H. In the session moderated by Collider's Steven Weintraub, Joe and Anthony Russo will recap their time in the MCU. While they may not have any upcoming Marvel projects on their plate yet, they have expressed interest in coming back to direct a movie. Hopefully, we can get a hint of what plans they have in mind. The panel will begin at 11:00 am.
This will be followed by a panel with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The duo have penned quite a bunch of hit MCU movies including 'Captain America: The First Avenger', 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', 'Thor: The Dark World', and both 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame'. Moderated by Jeff Goldsmith, the session is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm.
It is very unlikely that we can look forward to big trailers and footage from Phase 4, but maybe, they might let something drop.
In addition to all these exciting panels, fans can also get their hands on exclusive Marvel merchandise including artworks, posters, figurines, and comics.
