Liberals outraged over the potential overturning of Roe v Wade are blaming those who voted for Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein over Democrat hopeful Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Protesters gathered outside the Supreme Court in large numbers on Monday, May 2, after a leaked SCOTUS draft rejected the 1973 decision guaranteeing constitutional protection of abortion rights. It centers on the case of Dobbs v Jackson, concerning a challenge to Mississippi's 15-week ban on abortion. Oral arguments were heard back in December, but the final opinion in the case isn’t expected until later this spring or early summer.

The final opinion has not been released and votes and language are subject to change before opinions are formally released, but pro-abortion activists are already mired in a blame game over the upcoming decision. Many liberals took to social media to attack those who voted for Green Party candidate Stein over Democrat Clinton in the 2016 presidential elections, claiming the latter would have ensured Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, or Barrett -- appointed by former President Donald Trump -- didn't make it to the SCOTUS panel.

"The next time you choose to throw away your vote by voting for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson or sitting on your hands because you think all parties are the same, remember you’ve already cost the women of America their reproductive liberties," TV writer Bryan Behar tweeted.

"Jill Stein is trending--a reminder that a vote for her in 2016 was a Trump proxy vote that led us here. In PA, WI & MI Hillary lost by a mere 77k votes. 3rd party votes were 800k. Obama told you a protest vote was dangerous. Hillary said SCOTUS was at stake. You should've listened," investigative journo Victoria Brownworth added.

"'But…but…but…Hillary didn’t campaign in Wisconsin, so I voted for Jill Stein. It’s not MY fault! SHE should have EARNED my vote.' Yes, it IS your fault," one Twitter user wrote.

"To every single person who said "Nah, they'll never overturn Roe, you're being too emotional, vote for Jill Stein/Gary Johnson because Hillary is EEEVVILLLLL": F*** you backwards, forwards, and sideways. We told you. We TOLD you this would happen," another commented.

"All y'all had to do was check the box beside Hillary Clinton and not Jill Stein and nobody would have even heard of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, or Barrett," someone else added.

"The 2016 election is going to haunt us for decades! F*** Trump, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, GOP, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, Jill Stein, Putin, Russia & Fox News... Sorry, Hillary Clinton, America failed you!" another fumed.

However, there were some who scoffed at the outrage and blamed Democrats for not codifying abortion rights into law when they could. "F*** every single one of these liberals who are blaming Jill Stein and third party voters instead of their useless corporate party who could have codified abortion rights into law instead of using it as a cudgel to fundraise on every election. #RoeVWade," one tweeted.

"If you want to blame someone for the overturning of roe v. wade it's not Bernie or Jill Stein, who played no role in Hillary's loss. It's first of all Hillary herself for running a terrible campaign, and secondly, it's Ruth Bader Ginsburg who refused to resign under Obama," another wrote.

Stein herself responded to the furor, replying to Bryan Behar's tweet about her supporters. "Next time you blame progressives & 3rd parties for your losses, remember Dems had decades to codify Roe into law. Biden’s pledge to do that disappeared like his promises of a $15 min wage, student debt relief, and climate action. Dems have to earn our votes. You don't own them," she declared.
