Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have 'dramatic' breakups but always get back together, says source
Amid recent rumors of a possible split between Scott Disick and Sofia Richie, a source has claimed that their relationship was never very stable, to begin with.
Although Disick, 36, and Richie, 21, have been dating since the fall of 2017, a couple of years after he broke up with his ex and baby mama Kourtney Kardashian, the duo often had "some kind of drama" in their romance and hence ended up being an on-and-off couple.
“Scott and Sofia are the type of couple that constantly split up and get back together,” the source told People magazine. “It’s all very dramatic, and then all good again.”
After the Kardashian-Jenner clan warmed up to their romance - despite the 15-year-long age gap between them - Richie even appeared for the first time in a cameo on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' last season, where she joined her boyfriend, his ex and their three kids on a family trip to Finland.
“Traveling with a family like this is a unique situation that not everyone does,” Disick said in an October 2019 episode of the show. “I definitely think this trip, out of the other trips we’ve been on, has a little bit more pressure because the truth of the matter is, there are camera crews everywhere, tons of people walking around that Kourtney and I have known for over 10 years.”
He added: “Sofia has never really done anything like this before. It’s hard. I don’t want her to feel out of place, I don’t want her to feel like she’s not as comfortable as I am. I’m just trying to be cautious of everyone’s feelings.”
But fans who liked her appearance on the show will have to be disappointed as she recently told Entertainment Tonight that she will not be appearing on 'KUWTK' anymore and she was too focused on her acting career.
“I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, so 2020 is [the year of] no fear!” she had said. “Great things are happening and I’m really excited about it.”
Meaww also previously reported that Richie no longer followed Kardashian on social media, sparking breakup rumors. It was unclear when she had decided to unfollow her boyfriend's ex.
