Spoilers for 'Schitt's Creek' Season 6 Episode 14 'Happy Ending'

Six years ago, 'Schitt's Creek' appeared in our lives and revolutionalized comedy. Following the story of the once-wealthy Rose family who had lost all their money and now forced to live in a small town, the series had taken no time in cementing its position as perhaps the best comedy show on television.

Johnny (Eugene Levy), Mora (Catherine O'Hara), David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) Rose made for a unique blend of eccentric characters, each woven together by their idiosyncrasies. The feel-good show, with its conclusion, has proved creator Dan and Eugene's (very successful) attempts in telling a good story.

The conclusion to the show has its fans overwhelmed. As 'Schitt's Creek' embarked on its journey, fans of the show also tagged along. With David finally tying the knot with Patrick Brewer (Noah Reid) in the finale episode after what is perhaps the best representation of a queer relationship on screen. It was difficult to not break down.

"PATRICK’S VOWS WERE SO BEAUTIFUL I’M ON THE FLOOR CRYING," tweeted a very overwhelmed fan. "Schitt’s Creek' Patrick is one of television’s best characters I will not be taking questions at this time," tweeted another.

Things just before the wedding threatened to go wrong, but just as the Roses always manage to do, they stuck together and go through it.

Praises for the show don't cease. Bidding farewell on its own terms, it was the creators who wanted to conclude the show on a graceful note. "Bravo, Schitt’s Creek, bravo, ending of this amazing show was perfection and this behind the scenes special is everything!" tweeted a fan.

"For six years, Schitt's Creek has been one of the best TV shows, and that finale didn't disappoint. I am really going to miss this show," concurred another.

"A great show, a great cast, and so sad Schitt's Creek has come to an end. If I could leave quarantine and stay in a motel, I would," rued a fan.

There is simply not enough that we can get of 'Schitt's Creek'. So after we watched the finale, we went back to Season 1 Episode 1 'Our Cup Runneth Over' to watch the Rose family first arrive in the town that changed their lives. And like us, fans will do it too. "What exactly am I supposed to be doing with quarantine (AND MY LIFE) now that Schitt’s Creek is over?! Jk. We’re starting S1E1 tomorrow. Obviously."
