This story contains spoilers for Season 6 Episode 3 of 'Schitt's Creek' titled 'The Job Interview'

When Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy) took Stevie Budd (Emily Hampshire) and Roland Schitt (Chris Elliott) to a prospective meeting for the expansion of the Rosebud Motel empire, he had no idea Stevie wouldn't be on board. To be fair, he never even told them that they were going to check out a new property for their brand, even though they ended up at a funeral.

Stevie wishes to explore the world and all the numerous possibilities it has in store for her. Having lived in Schitt's Creek all her life, Stevie no longer wants to sit behind the reception desk at what is now the Rosebud Motel and keep checking in guests. Neither is she keen about expanding the motel business with Johnny, as she points out to him.

At the end of the last season, in the season finale, Stevie delivered a beautiful 'Cabaret' performance that not only had the entire audience giving her a standing ovation but truth be told, we cheered for her too! In a truly endearing coming-of-age story, Stevie caught a glimpse of her potential and all the possibilities that await her in the world — if only she chooses to step out of the Creek and venture out.

It is not like Stevie has been complacent all this while. The thought, the urge, the desire to leave Schitt's Creek and explore what the world holds for her has been an omnipresent one for Stevie. She has often wondered about the life outside of this Creek. With her performance on 'Cabaret', Stevie figured out that she could do anything she puts her mind to.

For the first time in the series, she puts the thought of leaving the Creek into words. Later in the episode, even enlisting David Rose's (Dan Levy) help for her interview with the local airlines. And while that results in a hilarious outcome, do you think Stevie will spread her wings and fly away? With Season 6 being the final season for the series, will we see Stevie bag the air hostess' job? Or will there be another 'Cabaret' on the horizon?

'Schitt's Creek' airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Pop TV.
