Spoilers for 'Schitt's Creek' Season 6 Episode 13 'Start Spreading the News'

The beloved 'Schitt's Creek' is slowly nearing its end. With Episode 13 of Season 6 now out, only the finale of the series is left to air and fans are not prepared to say their goodbyes.

"I would just like to say I’m not mentally prepared for Schitt’s Creek to end," shared a fan. Many are dreading having to bid farewell to a show that for the last six seasons has enraptured audiences with its honest storytelling. "Love you. Thank you so much for the gift of Schitt's Creek. I've never been so emotionally invested in a TV show. I have a feeling that next week will destroy me."

Fans couldn't be more grateful. The show with its fresh humour, vibrant characters and heartwarming storyline rescues fans from the miseries of the world today.

"Actual tears during the penultimate #schittscreek episode. I mean, we’re living through a pandemic so some of the emotion may have been due to that but also Schitt’s Creek is ending and I’m not ok," tweeted a fan.

"@danjlevy @sarahlevy_ @SchittsCreek How many times have you made me cry? These tears of joy helped me forget about this constant barrage of hopelessness that has enveloped our lives. Thank you Schitt's Creek. I (heart) you all! #SchittsCreek #twyla," tweeted another fan.

As the show aired its penultimate episode tonight, it leaves only the finale of the series, which is to air next week.

The Rose family is looking to explore brand new prospects as Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), Moira (Catherine O'Hara), David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) finally get their way out of Schitt's Creek. Over the course of the last six seasons, the Rose family — and by extension the family they formed in their town — have seen several ups and downs only to emerge out of all unscathed, with their eccentric characters intact.

"I'm gonna miss Schitt's Creek so much. Even if I was having a bad day or week, just watching an episode always made everything better. THANK YOU to you all for the most wonderful, quirky, sweetest, funniest show ever! Schitt's Creek is something so special," tweeted a fan.

The finale episode of 'Schitt's Creek' will air on April 7, 2020, on Pop TV at 9/8c followed by an hour-long special behind-the-scenes documentary 'Best Wishes' that will air immediately after.
