‘Save Warrior Nun’: Fans of rumored Chris Evans GF Alba Baptista slam Netflix for axing show
Netflix brought an end to the action-drama series 'Warrior Nun' starring Alba Baptista, just after a month after its second season release. Simon Barry, the series creator took to Twitter on Tuesday, December 13, to confirm the news.
Season 2 of 'Warrior Nun', only spent three weeks in Netflix’s Weekly Top 10 for English-language series standing at #5, as per Deadline. The cast of the series also included Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, Toya Turner, Tristán Ulloa, Thekla Reuten as well as Sylvia De Fanti, and William Miller. 'Warrior' Nun is based on the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala. The character initially appeared in 'Ninja High School #37' in March 1993, under the name Shanna Masters, reported Daily Mail.

The first season of the series was released in July 2020 and the second season was out on November 10, 2022, due to positive reviews. Barry tweeted, "I’ve just found out that @netflix will not be renewing #WarriorNun - my sincere appreciation to all the fans who worked so hard to bring awareness to this series, and for the love you showed me, the cast and the whole production team. It was a privilege to be a part of this." The show was executive produced by Stephen Hegyes and David Hayter and Terri Hughes Burton was the co-executive producer.
