SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Savannah Daisley a fitness expert and heiress who is accused of having sex twice in one day with a 14-year-old boy will go on trial in eight months to defend herself. Due to claims that she had sex with the teen in late May 2021, she made an appearance in Sydney Downing Centre District Court on Monday.

The 45-year-old allegedly gave the boy alcohol and expressed how she felt before allegedly having intercourse with him, according to the police. Police said she reportedly told the 14-year-old thereafter to stay quiet about the relationship and insisted it was a one-off occurrence.

Savannah Daisley called the boy

She apparently admitted to some of the offenses, according to the police who legally tapped the phone call she made to the 14-year-old after involving him in sex. The forthcoming trial will make use of the intercepted conversation between Daisley and the accused victim, the Daily Mail reported.

Director of Public Prosecutions counsel Rebecca Nezval stated that the crown was awaiting information from a jail cell and data that had been taken and analyzed from two phones. Both items are subject to legal privilege, the court heard.

After entering nonguilty pleas Daisley will go on Trial in October

"It's probably moving slowly because there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen," Nezval said as per the report. On Monday, February 20, Daisley was formally charged before Judge Kate Traill. She formally entered a plea of not guilty and was committed for trial in October.

Apart from the alleged victim, the court has heard there will be a number of underage witnesses too who will testify through prerecorded interviews. Navla as per the outlet noted that the crown will also call a couple of adult witnesses to the stand. The trial is expected to run for five days.

Daisley continues to remain on conditional bail bond

Daisley secured bail last year for running her celebrity-endorsed business called Smart Cleanse which focuses on promoting detoxification and health. Although the heiress will be back in court in April to determine if any legal issues or arguments are to be settled before the trial begins she will continue to remain on bail. Her father, champion horse breeder Ross Daisley, provided a $100,000 bond to guarantee her conditional liberty. She is restricted to live with her parents in the NSW Southern Highlands.

To make sure she complies with her bail conditions, she has to go to the police twice a week and submit to drug and alcohol tests. Daisley is not permitted to speak with the claimed victim or any witnesses, nor is she allowed to be around kids unless they are being watched.
