Saudi Arabian woman who was forcibly taken back to Riyadh in 2017 has not been heard from since
Though teenage Saudi refugee Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun was granted asylum in Canada last month after she fled from her Saudi Arabian family, other women from the Kingdom have not been so fortunate.
Take the fate of 26-year-old Dina Ali Lasloom, whose whereabouts remain unknown ever since she was abducted and returned to Saudi Arabia against her will while she was en route to seeking asylum in Australia two years ago.
Ali Lasloom, then 24, was stopped by Filipino authorities in April 2017 as they confiscated her passport and other documents during transit at Manila airport on her way to Australia.
The woman had pleaded for help publicly through a social media video, however, no one came to her assistance as she was eventually forced back on a plane home by her uncles.
