Saucy Santana, the rising hip-hop star from Tallahassee is setting the mood for 2021 with his latest offering, a 14-track album that marks the rapper’s third release for the year. With millions of views on YouTube and over 1  million followers on Instagram, the rapper called his work as “doing s--t the girls couldn’t do before me.” His latest release also features upcoming artists like LightSkinKeisha and DreamDoll, as well as production from Monique Winning and long-time collaborators Tre Trax and Bankhead. 

Speaking of the new release, Santana said, “It’s vibe music. With everything in the world right now, I want people to have a good time. You can play the album from start to finish and you’re gonna catch a vibe!"



 

Santana has also been vocal about his queer artist community and his work largely reflects that as well. Talking about his work and its impact on the LGBTQIA community, the rapper said, “I want it to definitely be a lane for my culture. If these people want to rap and take their rap career serious and they have talent and hits, let them the f--k through.” The rapper added, “That’s what I want to work on now because this is something new. People are still adjusting to me. So I feel like once I get in and it’s more accepted, hell yeah I can see it expanding", Billboard reported.

In 2020, Santana has achieved quite a few feats including releasing his debut project ‘Pretty Little Gangsta’ which solidified his staying power and earned him recognition from The Advocate as one of  “7 Queer Artists Who Are Changing the Industry." Santana's celebrity has also been spotlighted by Billboard, PAPER, BET, and a handful of other noteworthy publications. The rapper also went viral with his viral ‘walk’ challenge this year which a large number of social media users participated. Now looking to 2021, Santana is ready to set the vibe into the new year.
