Sarah Sanders says the White House is not interested in 'much of anything' that freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has to say
After Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez predicted that the world will end in 12 years due to climate change, the White House said they are not listening to the freshman Congresswoman "on much of anything."
Speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders asserted that the Trump administration isn't interested in Ocasio-Cortez's thoughts on climate change, Daily Mail reports.
When Sean Hannity questioned Sanders about the Congresswoman's recent statement, she said, "Look, I don't think we're going to listen to her on much of anything. Particularly not on matters we're gonna leave in the hands of a much, much higher authority, and certainly not listen to the freshman Congresswoman on when the world may end. We're focused on what's happening in the world right now."
