Sarah Jessica Parker has an awkward confrontation with animal welfare activists at store's opening event
Sarah Jessica Parker has been on a roll recently. She revamped her Irish cottage and also got on with opening up a shoe store in New York City. SJP shoes would surely make Carrie Bradshaw, SJP's character in 'Sex and the City' proud but clearly, animal welfare activists don't feel the same way. On Thursday when she was at Seaport District during a meet and greet, she was ambushed by animal welfare activists. There was a lot of questions asked about her fur jackets, but SJP was seen acting calm and collected, though clearly not happy.
In a footage from the scene, a female activist asks SJP, "How do you feel about rocking fur in every single one of your coats?' before adding, 'no compassion at all, your last winter coat had a fur trim." Sarah says: "I am a compassionate person," responding to the accusation.
