Meghan Markle is 'jealous' of Kate Middleton and 'ruined her birthday on purpose', says sister Samantha
Meghan Markle's estranged sister Samantha has once again lashed out at her, this time accusing her of being jealous of Kate Middleton.
What's more? She even insinuated that Meghan ruined Kate's birthday on purpose.
In an interview with Daily Star, the 54-year-old former model railed against her sister. She even chimed in on recent allegations that Meghan was "throwing herself" at Disney at the premiere for 'The Lion King' alongside Beyonce.
Samantha commented on her sister's public image in a scathing chat with the outlet. According to her, Meghan is jealous of Prince William's wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
"Sad she would do that on Kate's birthday - I believe she was jealous of beautiful Kate," Samantha said, referring to the royal stepdown that Harry and Meghan announced on Kate's birthday. "She could never compare – Kate is iconic! Perfect Queen material and lovely as a family member especially as a mother," she added. "I was impressed with how Kate could make a $200 dress look like $2 million."
Samantha has previously commented on Meghan's decision to resign, saying her actions were "inappropriate." "She received so much negative public scrutiny as a result of actions that were inappropriate," she said following the exit.
And when asked about Harry and Meghan's charity work and tour of Africa, Samantha said Meghan should become a "true humanitarian" if she was smart. "If she was smart she would be a true humanitarian, benefit the world especially poverty issues and be in a favorable public light," she insisted.
Last month, Meghan and Harry sent shockwaves across the royal family as they announced they would be stepping down as senior royals and had plans to become financially independent.
