Samantha Markle calls Meghan a hypocrite for whining about her well-being: 'Did you ever ask dad if he was okay after two heart attacks?'
Samantha Markle called her half-sister Meghan Markle a hypocrite for complaining that no one had asked about her wellbeing.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan recently said people rarely ask her if she's okay as she struggles under heavy public scrutiny. Samantha threw shade at Meghan after she watched ITV's recent documentary titled 'Harry and Meghan: An African Journey' on October 23 night.
In the documentary, Meghan was seen fighting back tears as she said, "Not many people have asked if I'm okay." Samantha, 54, could not believe that Meghan had the audacity to make such a comment especially given that she had not once checked up on her father Thomas Markle Sr. who had been through multiple heart-related health scares.
As reported by Inside Edition, Samantha shared, "I thought: 'Wow, did you ever ask dad if he was okay during two heart attacks?'" Samantha had also slammed Meghan for complaining about the negative press attention that she has been getting ever since she married the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry last year.
"She knew exactly what she was doing, so, hey you got what you wanted. I think it is really ludicrous that someone who is escorted around the world by millions of dollars worth of security on private jets as a millionaire could ever complain about anything," Samantha shared. When she was asked about the criticism that she has faced from those who think that she is mean to Meghan, Samantha responded saying that "telling the truth is not being mean". However, Samantha had something nice to say about Meghan and Prince Harry's newborn baby, Archie.
"He is adorable. He looks like Harry," she shared before adding that the documentary was one of the first times that she had gotten to see her nephew. Samantha has not spoken to Meghan directly in over a decade.
