'The Crown' beat 'Game of Thrones' and 'Stranger Things' and scooped the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series at the 26th annual SAG Awards and fans are not happy about it.

The 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards aired on Sunday night, and the Netflix series took home the award for Season 3 that stars Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter and Tobias Menzies among others. The famed series was up against 'Big Little Lies', 'Game of Thrones', 'The Handmaid's Tale' and 'Stranger Things'. This marks the first win and second nomination for the drama series.

With many of the cast members absent from the award ceremony, Helena Bonham Carter accepted the award and gave a stunning speech honoring the cast members who helped create the show. "There are actually 249 members of 'The Crown' cast, but we couldn't all come here because we work tomorrow. I think it's nice to thank Nina Gold, who cast us, and obviously we wouldn't be anywhere without the words, so Morgan, thank you for his genius."

She added, "We're all working, like, tomorrow so we’re leaving in about five minutes. It’s the most fun job and I’m amazed that we get a prize on top of the fun-ness of doing it… I've had the time of my life, I think we all have. It really is as good as it gets, this show. I really recommend it if you want a job." Before exiting the stage, she thanked the writers and Netflix.

Taking to Twitter post Helena's speech, fans shared their disappointment claiming that though 'The Crown' is a good series, it didn't deserve to win over 'GoT' or 'Stranger Things'. "Totally disagree. The #GoT S8 cast was a better ensemble for me than The Crown S3. #SAGAwards," shared a fan. Adding to that another said, "I just recently binged The Crown, but over Stranger Things or GOT, seriously? #SAGawards."

"@SAGawards Big Little Lies or Stranger Things, not The Crown. They didn’t even show up!" a fan wrote. While another shared, "No Stranger Things The cast killed it this season, best of the show so far."

"The cast of Game of Thrones should've won," wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan shared, "Are...You...Kidding??????? How?!?!? How has Game of Thrones never won an ensemble award??? How??? I'm so damn angry!!! Tell these dumb ass actors to watch other shows!!!!"

"Stranger Things was SNUBBED," another fan shared.
