'sMothered' finale left people surprised as the episode showcased many twists and turns in the lives of the cast members. Angelica and Jason started a new chapter in their life with a proposal and surprise pregnancy announcement. Sunhe decided to finally accept Jason and give the couple her blessing.

Meanwhile, the situation seemed tense between Sarah and Miguel. Sarah offered to give her kidney to Laurie but Miguel did not seem to be a fan of that. At the same time, he found out that Sarah may not want to have children of her own ever. This hinted that the couple had a lot more to talk about their relationship before deciding on settling down.

At the same time, Christina learns the shocking news that Carlos has decided to quit his job. Kathy is not too happy about this decision as it would mean Christina will not have to move back to their house. With Carlos and Christina planning a renovation for their house, it seemed like an ideal situation for them to move in with Kathy. However, looking at how he quit his job, the chances of a renovation taking place were close to none.

With all these couples facing a sudden turn of events, the finale of the show left viewers eagerly waiting for another season. While there has been no announcement of a new season yet, one thing that the viewers can expect to see is a 'Pillow Talk' format of the show. The preview for the coming week's episode (August 2) showed that the mother-daughter duo will be sitting down together and rewatching the episode. Following the format of famous 'Pillow Talk', where cast members watch the clips from shows, this new format will have the mother-daughter pair watching how some of the other duos work together.

Right from commenting on a mother who likes to lick her child to a daughter who might be a little too close to her mother, the show is going to give every person a chance to talk. Even though no official announcement has been made about the show becoming a permanent thing, in the time of Covid-19, this might be the new way for reality television.

'sMothered' airs on Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
