Anonymous Redditor makes startling accusations against 'sMothered' Season 5 newbies Catherine Vigorito and Gabriella Vigorito

Just a month before TLC releases the show's latest season, an anonymous user on Reddit made a post titled, 'Gabriella Vigorito Intel'.
The post read, "why does she have such a big following? grew up with her. her & her family are dreadfully racist and are extremely privileged and snobby. it sucks to see somebody so shallow / irrelevant / entitled have such a vast following. doing what? promoting fake designer stuff and putting together the worst outfits ever? not to mention her desperate thirst for publicity with her feature on TLC’s show smothered with her creepy ass mom."
Reddit user Due-Advertising-8513 continued, "i am being such a hater i know. a part of me is happy she found her path in life. however i can’t lie and say she deserves any of this. she’s always been a clout chaser & racist bully."
Even there is no way to confirm Due-Advertising-8513's claims, the internet has not taken Gabriella and Catherine Vigorito's addition to the show well.
Under the Reddit thread, users wrote, "What’s worse is they replaced Dawn and Cher with this racist knock off and her mom. Looks like shit season."
Another user chimed in, "Oh god no."
'SMothered's Gabriella Vigorito claims if you date her, you date her mom
Gabriella has an overbearing mother, and it's preventing her from developing a meaningful connection.
The social media personality from Connecticut told NeedToKnow.co.uk that her mother, Catherine, feels they are a package deal on the dating scene.
"My mom is very protective over me, so it’s caused some problems [in relationships] because she wants me to always be hanging out with her – no one else," she said.
"When I have boyfriends, mom says we are in the 'love triangle,'" she said.
Gabriella says her prospective suitors are 'intimidated' by her mother's young, beautiful features. Despite their 33-year age difference, the mother and daughter are frequently misidentified as twins.
Catherine is a former Miss Connecticut USA winner who hopes to see her daughter become Miss USA and Miss Universe shortly.
Close bond between 'sMothered's Gabriella and Catherine Vigorito gives rise to family drama
Despite the familial drama and relationship difficulties, Gabriella says she wouldn't change a thing about her mother.
"I love being my mom’s twin, it makes me feel really great," Gabriella said. "She is so beautiful, and I look up to her – she’s my biggest inspiration."
Catherine also discussed her close relationship with her middle daughter.
"I find it very complimentary, being confused as her sister," she went on to say. "It brings us closer together, and I would recommend it for any mother and daughter."
"She's my twin and best friend," the mother said.
Gabriella and Catherine Vigorito to make TLC debut with 'sMothered'
Catherine opens up about her loving friendship with daughter, Gabriella, in the sneak peek. She extols the wonderful bond that arose the instant Gabriella made her big debut in the world.
"You know how you can kind of just look inside someone's soul and just have that connection? We had that from the day she was born, even more than my other two daughters," Catherine adds. "It was just something so heavenly. She was like an angel."
Catherine goes on to say that the first thing she did with her 'mini-me' was take her "shopping for matchings." Gabriella claims she and her mother have 'always worn matching outfits', and they enjoy 'bougie' and 'over the top' styles.
Gabriella continues to admire Catherine, warmly referring to her mother as her idol.
"I literally have an entire poster blown up of her in my room. I mean, she's Miss Connecticut USA. Imagine growing up and your mom being Miss Connecticut USA — those are some shoes to fill!"
Gabriella says she can envision Catherine with her "Miss Connecticut crown and sash any day." Gabriella then rises up, takes up the two objects, and delicately sets them on her mother.
"When I win, she's going to come up on stage with her crown and sash," Gabriella reveals before briefly describing Catherine's annual habit of bringing these prized possessions to the pageant.
'sMothered's fifth season debuts on TLC on Tuesday, December 12 at 10 PM EST.
