'RuPaul's Drag Race: Vegas Revue': Kameron and Vanjie share a kiss, will it translate into a relationship?
'RuPaul's Drag Race: Vegas Revue' is all set to premiere tonight. And from the looks of it, it's going to be yet another successful spin-off series of the VH1-backed show 'RuPaul's Drag Race'. The series' uniqueness lies in the fact that the showrunners have moved the competition from a studio to a stage. The drag queens will now be performing in front of a live audience. The pressure is on, but how much of it will they be able to handle?
A sneak peek into what can be expected from the series tells us that there are truckloads of gossip and a lot of drama that awaits us. One such storyline is that of Kameron Michaels and Vannessa Vanjie Mateo who were shown to be sharing a kiss while the ladies from the show gasped. Is this the start of new beginnings and how will this relationship play out amid the intense pressure of performing live? Time will tell. If it's more than just a kiss, it would come to be Vanjie's second onscreen romance. She was close with her co-contestant from 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 11. Vanjie dated Brooke Lynn Hytes for four months after the show was taped. The couple couldn't make it work owing to conflicting schedules. During the reunion, Brooke announced that she and Vanjie are no longer together because the latter had a tight schedule.
"We dated for about four months after the show, and we tried to make it work, but our schedules were just very different," Brooke had told Ru, Popbuzz reported. Brooke was "scared" because Vanjie was traveling extensively, which left them with no time together. "He was traveling all the time, I wasn't traveling at all, so we never really saw each other, and it was scary for me," Brooke shared and added that she still has a lot of love for Vanjie. Here's hoping, Kameron doesn't end up having similar complaints and two (if they decide on moving forward with the kiss) are able to give each other time.
