Corey Feldman gets Rose McGowan's support for docu set to expose Hollywood pedophiles: 'Take the bad guys down'
Rose McGowan has never shied away from lending her support to those who have been sexually abused and she has been the one of the first to raise her voice against convicted movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. McGowan fought against the establishment back then and has now pledged her support to Corey Feldman who is set to release his documentary 'My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys' on March 9, 2020.
In his documentary, Feldman is raising his voice against abusers in the industry revealing the names of six Hollywood predators and pedophiles including the name of the man who raped his former co-star and best friend Corey Haim.
Not a lot is known about the names that Feldman is going to reveal, but it is safe to assume that there will be a huge fallout (perhaps one along the lines of Weinstein himself) after the name is revealed.
Feldman's case is not an unknown one since he has been speaking out against the abuse he faced since 1993, but it is only now - for the first time ever - that he will reveal the names of the alleged predators without hindrance.
"I am saying every name that affected … our lives and we have victims talking about their experiences … The one main name that everyone is waiting to hear … It is a name that everybody on the planet knows," he had said on 'The Wendy Williams Show'. Since streaming services turned him down, he will be premiering the documentary on his website on Monday, March 9.
Taking to Twitter to offer her support, McGowan also asked her 901K followers to watch out for the documentary. "I support Corey Feldman. I hope he takes the bad guys down, there are so many. His documentary airs on Monday (google it.) Corey is brave and his truth should be heard. #coreyfeldman #itssohard #respect," she wrote. Some of her followers even shared details about watching the movie.
Feldman hopes that after the identity of the high-profile Hollywood personality is revealed, more victims will come forward to seek justice. While Haim passed away in 2010 following complications due to pneumonia, Feldman hopes to bring his close friend some justice through his documentary.
He had earlier revealed that his life is in danger since he started working on his documentary.
