The internet was furious after Fox News host Laura Ingraham reported on Ron DeSantis’ response to King Abdullah II's remarks on Gaza

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Tuesday, October 17, Florida Governor and 2024 GOP candidate Ron DeSantis appeared on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ hosted by Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham and shared his opinion on Jordan King Abdullah II’s comments on Gaza.

This came after King Abdullah II made his remark on Tuesday that Jordan will not be accepting Palestinian refugees displaced by the Israeli-Hamas conflict.

He said, “This is a red line. No refugees to Jordan and also no refugees to Egypt.”

Ingraham then took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on what DeSantis had to say in return to King’s remarks. However, he was brutally slammed by the internet as several called him “dumbass”.

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Ron DeSantis points out the irony: 'Arab countries, often vocal supporters of Palestinian Arabs, aren't accepting them as refugees. They're concerned about their own countries. Why can't US elites share the same concern?' #IngrahamAngle 🤔.”

Her tweet also featured a short clip of herself and DeSantis where the host questioned the Governor of King Abdullah of Jordan.

She showed a clip of King Abdullah’s remarks where he stated, “No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt. This is a situation of humanitarian dimension that has to be dealt inside of Gaza and the West Bank, and not to try and push the Palestinian challenge and their future onto other people's shoulders.”

She then went on to ask DeSantis, “Governor, I mean, unequivocal. No.”

DeSantis added, “Well, that's the thing. I mean, you hear people in the United States, and you played a clip saying we're supposed to import the Arab countries that are supposed to be always holding up. The Palestinian Arabs, they won't accept a single one of them. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia.”

He continued, “None of them will accept any of them. And part of the reason is because I think that they're concerned about what importing large numbers of those folks would mean for their own countries. So how come they can be concerned about that? But somehow elites in the United States say, we can't be concerned about that.”

Internet slams Ron DeSantis after his response to King Abdullah II's remarks on Gaza

After Fox News host Laura Ingraham reported about Ron DeSantis’ response to the King's remarks, the internet was furious.

One social media user wrote, “The irony of Ron DeDumbass lecturing Arab countries for not accepting refugees while closing his own state to refugees and paying to fly refugees to other places.  😂😂😂.”

Another trolled DeSantis by saying, “Ummmm everyone with a brain has known this. Desantis is late to the party on this point,” while one wrote, “Anyone who goes on Fox is condoning liars and must be one themself.”

One called out DeSantis and wrote, “Another GOP freak🤬It’s everyday 🤬,” while another said, “Desantis can piss right off.”

A person simply slammed the governor and said, “Totally wrong Ron, the reason is simply not to allow the displacement in the first place and steel another piece of land from the Palestinians! Simple LAND, got it, who much brain cells do you need to understand!”
